We want to continue being a travel agency that connects hearts
Our hotel is the largest natural hot spring inn in Kochi Prefecture, boasting a vast grounds, an exceptional location, and a deep historical connection to the Yamauchi family, the feudal lords of the Tosa domain.
We welcome many guests from the local area and across the country who come to our hotel to find happiness.
We are currently seeking colleagues to join us in working at this important spiritual power spot.
One of our greatest strengths is the kind feedback we receive from guests in every area, who tell us, “All the staff at Sansuien are so kind.”
We believe that the key to treating our guests with kindness lies in our management team ensuring the happiness of our colleagues.
Our corporate culture is characterized by a natural tendency to value and cherish our guests, which stems from our respect and care for our colleagues.
Won’t you join us in creating a popular inn where everyone involved is happy—so popular that reservations are hard to come by?

Sansui-en will celebrate its 75th anniversary in 2024
I believe that the current state of Sansuien is the result of the dedicated efforts of our predecessors over the 74 years since our founding.
Recently, our employees have started sharing a variety of opinions.
We’ve also been receiving more and more praise from customers through word of mouth.
Comments like, “The service was very friendly,” and “The greetings were very pleasant,” and so on. After all, we’re only human… It sounds like something I’ve heard before, but it makes me happy when customers praise us. It really does make us happy to see our guests leave with a smile on their faces.
Our frontline staff are taking the initiative and working hard to improve customer satisfaction.
While preserving Sansuien’s history and traditions, we will continue to evolve to adapt to the changing times. We also aim to create a company where everyone who works at Sansuien feels comfortable, and a ryokan that brings joy to our guests.

"Hospitality Is About People"
Sansuien Co., Ltd. completed an eight-story new wing in October 2020, demolished the old building, and reopened as a renewed facility in November 2021.
With the new building, we have received an increasing number of comments from guests saying they had a comfortable stay. Naturally, this applies to the facilities, but we are also receiving more compliments regarding our customer service.
As anyone working in the service or hospitality industry will understand, while manners and etiquette can be acquired to a certain extent through training, the ability to “interact with guests with a spirit of hospitality” is something that is difficult to master even through training. One could even say that the ability to provide service that leaves a positive impression on guests is a talent. We are fortunate to have many such staff members at our inn, and I am deeply grateful to the staff who work day and night on the front lines.
It is said that 49% of current jobs will be replaced by AI in the future, but these days I am reminded more than ever that the innkeeping business is truly about “people.”
We will continue to strive daily to be an inn where guests feel, “I’m glad I chose this place.”
